Our latest updates are all about infants and children! Becky
Saul, author of the series on Pain Assessment and Management in Infants and
Children has updated the three procedures:
Pain Assessment in infants and children
Patient-controlled analgesia
Nurse-controlled analgesia
The procedure on Patient-controlled analgesia has been
reworked to provide a better flow through the information. And in all three of
the procedures, there are masses of updated references.
We also have a new editor for the two procedures on Hygiene
for Infants and Children:
Working with a baby in a cot
Bathing a baby
These have been taken over by Catherine Hewitt, Senior
Lecturer in Children’s Nursing, London South Bank University.
If you’ve been working late this week, and particularly if
you’ve been burning the midnight oil, you may have noticed that the website has
been down for maintenance on a couple of evenings. I’m pleased to report that
all the current work has been successfully completed and there’s a noticeable
improvement in speed! Thank you very much for your patience while we’ve been
carrying out this important upgrade to the server.
