Each month the Trust Libraries create a display and resource bulletin on a clinical topic. For May 2017, it is on A&E . The display is on show at both Libraries and the resource bulletin (which lists a selection of our top resources for A&E plus other library resources and services) can be accessed here. REMEMBER, the Libraries also hold many books on A&E at the WB 105 section on the shelves and search our catalogue for titles: (www.southeastlibrarysearch.nhs.uk)
The A&E bulletin is available in the Libraries and here. All the other Library resource bulletins can be accessed on our website.
You can access e-journals such as Emergency Medicine Journal, Emergency Medicine Clinics of North America and Annals of Emergency Medicine with an OpenAthens account. You can also access e-books such as Emergency medicine secrets by Markovchick V J and Textbook of adult emergency medicine by Cameron P also with an OpenAthens account.
You can borrow the most recent editions of Accident and emergency: theory into practice by Dolan B and Emergency triage by Mackway-Jones K as well as many other A&E books at WB 105 on the Library shelves.
Search and access e-resources via our catalogue www.southeastlibrarysearch.nhs.uk with your OpenAthens account.
An OpenAthens account is required to access e-resources, go to https://openathens.nice.org.uk/ to self-register for an account.
PLEASE contact the Libraries if you have any issues with registering for an OpenAthens account, accessing e-resources or anything else we can help you with!
