This year’s annual Royal
Marsden Manual of Clinical Nursing Procedures Webinar will be covering the topic
of Revalidation.
Revalidation is the
new process that all nurses and midwives in the UK will need to follow to
maintain their registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Taking effect from
April 2016, revalidation is straightforward and will help Nurses and Midwives
demonstrate they practice safely and effectively. It will encourage nurses to
reflect on the role of the Code in their practice and demonstrate
that they are 'living' the standards set out within it.
The code covers
four themes which improve public protection.

· Preserve
Safety
· Promote
professionalism and trust
