Guidelines on how to access the online

Journal of Healthcare Assistants
This has now been made much easier to access.
You will need an Athens username and password, which
is obtained from the Trust librarians.
Go to the web page:
At the top of the page click on ’sign in’.
Click on ’sign in via OpenAthens’
Enter your Athens username and password
You can now access the current articles from the
British Journal of Healthcare Assistants.
This is a monthly journal with many interesting
articles to read.
Click on ‘list of issues’ to bring up previous journals.
Issues from January 2013 to date are available.
In the 2016 journal, volume 10, issue 1, there is
an article on the ‘Care Certificate Standards 5 and
- 6:Working in a Person–Centred Way; and Communication’.
Access to Clinicalskills.net
You can now access Clinicalskills.net via the MTW
Trust intranet or off site using an Athens username
and password.
Go to www.clinicalskills.net and click on ’login
to Clinicalskills.net’ then click on the OpenAthens logo.
Enter your Athens username and password. Click on
‘catalogue’.
You can now access 160 different clinical skills
