NEW Procedures on ClinicalSkills.net- measuring blood pressure

From ClinicalSkills.net:
2018 is upon us and we’re pleased to announce that the first updates of the year are the procedures on measuring blood pressure. The new editor of this series is Naomi Stetson, Lead Nurse at the Peart Rose Hypertension Clinic at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Naomi has reviewed the four parts of the series and updated them where needed.
You can find the procedures in the Observations category in the Adults section. Their titles are:
Measuring blood pressure part 1: Equipment
Measuring blood pressure part 2: Procedure
Measuring blood pressure part 3: The patient
Measuring blood pressure lying/sitting and standing

The procedures continue to cite key guidance from NICE (2011) and the British and Irish Hypertension Society (2017).

We will be adding edited versions of these procedures to the Healthcare Assistants section very soon.

There’s masses of updates and new content in the pipeline, so look out for my next newsletter next week!

Check out the Observations procedures here: https://www.clinicalskills.net/dashboard/procedures/5/34  and access with an OpenAthens account off-site or click straight through if on a Trust PC.
