The Hunger Games

The next Dress Circle Film Society film will be The Hunger Games, shown on Tuesday 29th January, 6.30 for 7pm start.

ALL Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells employees are welcome to attend, as are GPs from the local MTW community areas.

The screening takes place at The Academic Centre, Maidstone Hospital. Proceeds from refreshments will go to a nominated charity.

MTW and Local Authors

We have a feed on our netvibes page from the PubMed database that identifies publications by local (MTW Trust and other Maidstone or Tunbridge Wells based institutions and organisations) staff. It is a good way to find out what your peers are researching, and what initiatives are being developed locally.

View it here: http://www.netvibes.com/mtwlibrary

Hot drinks machine

We are very pleased to announce that there is now a hot drinks machine in the library at Maidstone Hospital. It is situated adjacent to the PCs, and will dispense assorted, teas, coffees and hot chocolate.

All drinks are 50p - NO CHANGE IS GIVEN. Please ask at the libray counter if you need change for the machine.

New library catalogue survey

We would be very grateful if you could spare a few minutes to answer some
questions about your experience of using the new version of our library
catalogue, www.southeastlibrarysearch.nhs.uk  This will enable us to give
feedback to the site providers and improve the support we offer our readers.

There are only 6 questions in the survey, and we would anticipate it only
taking 3-4 minutes to complete https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/selsusersurvey

We are also looking for volunteers to complete a full usability test on the
catalogue in the library which could also be incorporated into a full training
session on library resources.  If you would be interested in taking part please
email ann.foreman@nhs.net

Many thanks in advance for your response - your opinion is very important to
us.
