Library Survey

Earlier this year we conducted a Library Users survey.

Our main purposes in running a service evaluation survey were to:

  • Establish levels of satisfaction with services we offer
  • Establish levels of use of various elements of our service
  • Gauge levels of awareness of both the service as a whole and of various elements of the service.
  • Use the survey as a marketing tool.

We are very grateful to all participants in the survey for taking the time to complete it for us.

The results of the survey can be seen here.

Paperback Exchange!

The library on the Maidstone site is trialling a Book Exchange Scheme. We have a wide collection of novels from a variety of different authors/genres available on a trolley in the library; why not bring in a couple of your unwanted paperbacks and see what you can swap them for?

The exchange scheme will be fairly low-key, but to ensure that we do not have a negative impact on the work of the League of Friends, we will make regular donations of books to them, and purchase replacements to keep the exchange topped-up and of interest to all.

If the scheme is successful, we will roll it out to the Tunbridge Wells site later in the year.

So – come over to The Library, Academic Centre, and sort out your Spring-time reads!

UpToDate is a popular point of care clinical reference tool which gives you access to evidence-based, peer-reviewed information to help with patient care. MTW staff are using UpToDate to help them to answer clinical questions, on average around 500 times a month. Why don’t you give it try? UpToDate is only accessible on MTW Trust PCs.

Did you know that you can also access and search NHS Evidence direct from the MTW Trust intranet home page too?
