The National Library for Public Health is proud to announce its second Annual Evidence Update (AEU) on HIV/AIDS behaviour change in high-risk populations.
This year’s update has identified 32 systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and literature reviews. Additionally a number of UK and international guidance to support HIV/AIDS have been identified. The AEU can be accessed from the front page of our library (http://www.library.nhs.uk/publichealth/) or directly at http://tinyurl.com/yg2t8em.

Oral Health Update
2009 Oral Cancer Annual Evidence Update
This week is Mouth Cancer Awareness Week - an appropriate time to present this information. It comes at the end of a year in which the reported rise in oral cancer incidence has regularly hit the headlines. For this Update we have identified all the systematic reviews and guidelines published over the previous 12 months that meet our quality critieria. These have been critically appraised and the evidence from them is discussed in a commentary by Dr David Conway, Clinical Senior Lecturer in Dental Public Health, University of Glasgow Dental School and Honorary Consultant in Dental Public Health, NHS National Services Scotland, Information Services Division. Please pass this information to anyone with any interest in this area NHS Evidence - oral health http://www.library.nhs.uk/oralhealth/

Library Recall Notices
You may have received an email from us yesterday telling you that your books are required by another user. For some of you this will indeed be the case, but the majority of the notices went out in error.
Either way, you are not obliged to return items to us until your original loan period is over. Please come in, email or phone us when your books are due, and assuming that they are not actually held for someone else we will renew them for you if you still require them.
