Good News and Kent and Sussex Library!

Computers are back!

We are delighted to let you know that we finally have our library computers back, and that we are once again in a position to start offering 24/7 access to the library and its computers.

Many thanks to all our readers for being so patient while the problems have been resolved.



Please remember, the Trust takes misuse of PCs very seriously - help us to hang onto our computers by using them responsibly, and abiding by the policies on appropriate use at all times.

Use this online resource to help with your revision and brush up on your exam technique. We can issue you with an account lasting four weeks for you to use wherever you have access to a computer.

The Outreach Library Service is for NHS staff working in the community in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. I can assist you to access books, journals and electronic resources, and to help you get the information you want, without the need to visit the Health Library.
I can introduce you to a range of useful health knowledge resources and point you towards sources for evidence-based. I can also help you with Athens registration and to make the best use of the NHS databases and electronic journals.
I provide a flexible service and sessions can take place at your workplace at a time to suit you. The training is informal and tailored to your interests and the time you have available.

Pembury Library Update

PEMBURY LIBRARY, which is now based at Woodlands House, is now fully operational. Come and see us in our new premises where you can access books and journals and use the computers. (We also have a selection of recently withdrawn books for sale from 50p)

24 hour access is available for those who have registered. Please visit the library to register if you would like to use the library out of hours. Once you have done this the out of hour's key and swipe card can be obtained from the lodge at the site entrance. When this is closed please phone the porters from the phone at the lodge who will give you the access key.

Our normal opening hours are:
Monday to Thursday 8.30 am - 5 pm
Friday 8.30 am - 4.30 pm
