Library Noticeboards

Have you seen the noticeboards in our Libraries? Each month a new topic of current interest will be displayed. This month we feature Alcohol, have you done the net doctor alcohol quiz "Do you drink too much"? You may be pleased with the results. Please take a look when using the Libraries. Did you know.....?

The Library at the Maidstone site has an independent IT network which enables library users to get access to Hotmail, Yahoo Mail and other web-based mail packages blocked by the Trust.

We can also offer access to the web when the Trust network is unavailable.

This service will soon be available at the library at Kent & Sussex Hospital.

Congratulations to a member of the library staff at Maidstone, Yvette Howell-Williams, who won first place in the Trust's art competition.

The artwork is displayed on the stair well in the Postgrad Centre - stop and have a look on your way up to the Library.

Spaces still left!

Free training in how to do effective literature searching is available from your library!
There are still spaces available for the training session at:

Maidstone on Tuesday 7th November 1-2pm
Kent & Sussex on Tuesday 21st November 1-2pm

If you want to take up one of these places, please contact a member of the library staff.

Library Closures

The three libraries will be closed until 2pm on Friday 20th October 2006 for a full team staff meeting. Usual 24/7 access arrangements will apply.

Pembury Library Move II

The Library at the Pembury site has now moved into its new premises at Woodlands House - back to business as usual! Do call in and visit us soon.
